Xing Fu Tang (ๅนธ็ฆๅ ) began in Taiwan with a simple mission: to craft the perfect brown sugar boba using traditional, handcrafted methods passed down through generations.
Our name translates to “House of Happiness” – and that’s exactly what we deliver. Every cup is made with love, authenticity, and the finest ingredients sourced directly from Taiwan.
When we opened our doors in Ottawa in 2024, we brought more than just bubble tea. We brought a piece of Taiwanese culture, tradition, and the joy of sharing authentic flavours with our community.

The story of xing fu tang
Xing Fu Tang (ๅนธ็ฆๅ ) was founded by Mr. Chen in Taiwan draws inspiration from his grandmother – Ah Ma Chen’s fond memories of his childhood revolve around Ah Ma’s traditional brown sugar dishes.
One playful mishap resulted in Ah Ma accidentally caramellizing the sugar, yielding an unexpectedly delightful aroma and flavor.
The serendipitous event led to the birth of Xing Fu Tang’s signature Brown Sugar Milk Tea, symbolizing happiness with each sip as the caramelized sugar gracefully forms the word “Happiness” when poured into a glass.
